Police have charged a woman over an alleged stabbing near Wamuran.
It’s alleged just before 4pm on Tuesday, a 42-year-old man was stabbed at a Dawes Road address at Campbells Pocket.
He was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious injuries.
A 33-year-old Campbells Pocket woman was arrested at a Dawes Road property yesterday.
She has been charged with one count each of wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm and is due in Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for dashcam vision as investigations continue into a crash in Birtinya on Tuesday night.
Initial enquiries indicate at approximately 7.40pm, a red Holden Commodore was spotted driving dangerously along Kawana Way before colliding with a grey Toyota Corolla that had entered the road from Capital Place.
The Holden continued on and crashed into trees before coming to a stop at a median strip a short distance away.
The female driver of the Toyota, a 16-year-old Peachester learner driver, suffered unknown injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The two passengers, a 45-year-old Peachester woman and a 14-year-old girl, were uninjured.
The driver of the Holden, a 25-year-old Palmview woman, suffered a broken wrist and was taken to hospital for treatment .
The passenger, a 22-year-old Sippy Downs woman, was uninjured.
Investigations are continuing, anyone who was in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam vision is being urged to contact police.
And police are calling for anyone who witnessed a crash in Mooloo, near Gympie, last week to contact them.
Around 1.15pm last Friday, a white Toyota Coupe travelling on a single lane bridge on Mooloo Road between Glen Musa Road and Burgess Road, swerved to avoid colliding with a silver SUV.
The coupe left the road and ended up in the water below, with the SUV leaving the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the coupe, an 18-year-old Greens Creek woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
Police are also urging residents who may have CCTV or dashcam vision of a silver SUV in the area around the time of the crash to come forward.
