This year Marvel appears to have bounced back after a bit of a bumpy few projects. Many previous films appear to have been dipping then soaring and has turned tuning in to be a bit of a gamble in what to expect in terms of quality. But this year Marvel seems to have found its stride again. With two phenomenal cinematic entries with Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four and return of the beloved Daredevil for the smaller screens. It hasn’t come without its controversy for sure as both Captain America: Brave New World and Iron Heart had their issues, but overall, it seems that 2025 is on track to end with a success.
Their next project though is not one that kids can enjoy it seems. (Well I’m sure they’d enjoy it but they probably shouldn’t)
Coming out later this month is a four-part animated TV-series named Marvel: Zombies. Based incredibly loosely off the comic with the same name, we’ll see Marvel heroes have to survive a zombie apocalypse, but the zombies chasing them down are our old favourite heroes and villains that still have access to all their powers. You can catch the trailer below!
The series is TV-MA which for us here in Australia is your standard MA15+ rating. Marvel’s mini-series is set to release on the 24th of September.
