More than 30 years after the iconic 1995 film first hit cinemas, Alicia Silverstone is set to reprise her role as the unforgettable Cher Horowitz in a brand new sequel series.
The upcoming show has officially been picked up by Paramount+ after an earlier version of the project was dropped by Peacock.
Cher Has Grown Up
The new series will catch up with Cher three decades after the original film.
She is now a successful businesswoman and mum who appears to have life completely figured out. But when her own daughter reaches high school, Cher discovers that raising a teenager might be more difficult than surviving Beverly Hills High.
In other words, she is about to feel completely clueless all over again.
Familiar Faces Could Return
Silverstone will also work behind the scenes as an executive producer, while original Clueless writer and director Amy Heckerling is returning as a producer.
There is no word yet on whether Paul Rudd, Donald Faison or other original cast members will make an appearance, but fans are already hoping for a few familiar faces.
Production is expected to begin in Los Angeles in 2027, with a release date yet to be announced.
