A tip-off from the public has helped police find a Ford Mustang, which had been stolen at gunpoint on the Sunshine Coast.
It was taken by a group of men on Wednesday morning, in the rear carpark of a shopping complex on Maroochy Boulevard at Maroochydore.
Police say a 57-year-old man was cut off by a white Ford ute around 5.30am, with two male passengers getting out and threatening him with a gun, before taking off in his vehicle.
The car was located the next day, following a report from the public.
Investigators are still looking for the offenders.
Anyone with information that may assist police is asked to come forward.
