It’s hoped a locally filmed and produced music video for a Powderfinger song will give a Sunshine Coast writer and director’s career a huge boost.
Jessie Hughes won the music video category at this year’s Sunny Coast Showdown, a competition which aims to promote and provide opportunities for local talent in the film and television industry.
The prize paid for the cost of filming the music video at various locations on the coast recently and will be released at the end of June.
