Police are investigating a vehicle fire at Moffat Beach.
Emergency services were called to Seaview Terrace where a Denza B8 station wagon was on fire on the beach just after 4am yesterday.
The vehicle was stolen from a nearby home earlier in the morning, along with a VW Passat which was found near the Denza.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing and anyone who was in the area at the time of the fire and has relevant CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police
It’s the second vehicle fire in Caloundra this month.
Meanwhile, police are continuing to crackdown on antisocial behaviour by juveniles around the Caloundra bus interchange.
Police patrols in the area have increased and they’re scanning for weapons under Jacks Law.
Since July last year, 561 people have been wanded in Caloundra, including 369 juveniles, with 3 weapons located and seized.
