Two men have been charged over their connection to the stolen truck involved in last week’s fatal crash on the Bruce Highway at Burpengary.
A 26 year-old Caboolture man died when the Hino truck, driving in the wrong direction on the highway collided with his car.
The driver of the truck remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Police raided a property in Redcliffe on Friday and seized alleged stolen property and a firearm allegedly linked to the stolen truck.
A 49-year-old man and a 36-year-old man, both from Redcliffe, have been charged man with enter premises, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and weapons offences.
They are expected to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court next month.
Meanwhile, all vehicles involved in chasing the truck before the crash have been identified and the owners are assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigators have also thanked the community for their assistance and are continuing to encourage anyone with information or those with footage, who have not yet come forward, to contact police.
