Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to a number of fuel stealing offences on the Sunshine Coast and Caboolture since February this year.
Shortly before 11.30pm on May 25, a man refuelled a black Holden Barina at a service station on Steve Irwin Way in Glenview but left without paying.
The same car, bearing a series of false number plates, is believed to have been involved in more than 20 similar incidents around the Sunshine Coast and Caboolture.

The car is described as black with a red roof, and may have been painted red in earlier incidents.
Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations.
Anyone with information about the man, the car or the incidents is urged to contact police.
