Plans have been unveiled for a 180 room luxury hotel in Maroochydore.
The Crowne Plaza development on Ocean Street includes a 600 square metre ballroom and restaurants.
The top four floors will consist of 24 luxury two and three-bedroom apartments.

The project will be lodged under council’s temporary planning scheme which means its 13 storeys, which are seven metres over the height limit, should be okay.
