A man is lucky to be alive after plunging more than eight metres off a steep cliff at Noosa National Park.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene at Tea Tree Bay at around 3pm yesterday to help a man who had fallen off a popular walking track.
The man, who is aged in his 50s, has been airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

He is in a stable condition and has fractured both his ankles.
