A man is being questioned by police, following the death of a 51-year-old woman on Bribie Island.
Officers found her body during a welfare check at a Melia St property in Bongaree, around 9pm on Thursday.
Police have since received reports of a disturbance the previous night.

They are calling for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area around 11pm on Wednesday February 15, to come forward.
A QPS spokesperson says a man is currently assisting police with their investigations.
