A man in his 30s has died in a drowning incident at a popular Sunshine Coast beach.
Emergency crews raced to Kings Beach around 6.15pm on Monday night, but were unable to revive him.
A Queensland Police spokesperson has confirmed the sudden death.

She says officers are preparing a report for the coroner.
It’s the fourth major incident in Sunshine Coast waters so far this year.
A 27-year-old French backpacker died at Coolum Beach on January 4, another 27-year-old woman drowned at Bulcock Beach on January 22, while a 21-year-old man was swept out to sea at Teewah Beach the previous day, January 21.
