A second man has been charged as part of an investigation into an alleged serious assault in Narangba last year.
It’s alleged the 38-year-old Nanango man was one of three people who entered a Coochin Avenue residence last September and assaulted a 58-year-old man before leaving.
The victim sustained serious head injuries and spent two weeks in hospital.
The man has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, enter dwelling with intent, robbery in company, deprivation of liberty, evade police, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and three counts of possession of dangerous drug (methylamphetamine, diazepam and cannabis)
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on March 6.
Investigations are continuing in relation to the third person involved in the matter and detectives are appealing for anyone with further information to contact police.
Meanwhile, a man has been arrested on domestic violence charges over an incident at Dakabin on Monday night.
A 24 year-old woman was shot in the leg.
Police said they cannot comment further as it is a domestic violence incident.
And police are still looking for a person who shot a man in the hand at Narangba on Tuesday night.
They said the two incidents are not related.
