Man arrested after robbing people at gunpoint

A man has been charged over alleged armed robberies at Caboolture.

The 28-year-old is accused of robbing another man at gunpoint on Bulloo Street around 9.40am on Tuesday, fleeing with some of the victims personal items.

A short time later at 10.10am, the man allegedly held up a business on King Street, threatening two staff members with the firearm and stealing cash.

It is then alleged the man threatened a woman with the gun on Mareli Street and forced her to drive him to Dawson Street.

Following investigations, police arrested the man on Condamine Street around 10.25am where they also seized the firearm.

The Mitchelton man has been charged with three counts each of deprivation of liberty and common assault, as well as one count each of armed robbery, robbery, enter premise with intent to commit indictable offence and unlawful entry of vehicle for committing indictable offences.

No people were injured in any of the incidents.
