Fugitives still on the run

Detectives have released images and vision of a man and woman who they believe can assist investigations into an armed robbery and assault incident at Morayfield last Sunday.

The man, believed to be a 35-year-old from Granville on the Fraser Coast, is described as Caucasian, with short, dark, buzz-cut-style hair and brown eyes. The man also has distinctive tattoos on the left side of his face and along his left arm and hand.

The woman, believed to be a 26-year-old from Maryborough, is described as Caucasian, with blonde hair with brown regrowth, dark-coloured eyes, and distinctive minor tattoos on both sides of her face, near her eyes.

Investigators are appealing to the man and woman to contact police and surrender themselves into custody.

Detective Senior Sergeant Thomas Buckman said there is no place for violent crimes in our community.

“While we don’t want to cause alarm in the community, the action of these two persons are of particular concern, we would ask the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to police,” Detective Buckman said.

The public is asked not to approach the man or woman and to call Triple Zero immediately.
