Detectives have released footage of a truck being used to steal an excavator on the Sunshine Coast.
The machinery was taken from the fenced yard of a Cordwell Road business at Yandina, around 2am on Sunday September 4.
A mini E20 excavator with Queensland registration 80705C and trailer with Queensland registration 414UDD were stolen.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone who has seen the excavator, or recognises the truck towing them, to contact police.
