The Dolphins continue to secure key members of their squad with Tevita Naufahu and Brad Schneider both committing their futures to the club.
Naufahu has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him in Dolphins colours until the end of the 2029 season, while Schneider has re-signed through to the end of 2028.
As the historic first member of the Dolphins’ academy to graduate to the NRL, 20-year-old Naufahu has made the most of his opportunities at NRL level.
Establishing himself as a dangerous attacking threat, the winger has underlined his talent with nine tries in just 15 NRL appearances.
Schneider has also made a significant impact since arriving at the Dolphins, with the 25-year-old proving a valuable addition to the squad throughout the 2026 season.
Schneider has made 13 appearances this season, scoring two tries while adding four try assists and six-line breaks.
A premiership winner with the Panthers in 2024, Schneider’s ability to step into the halves and make an impact whenever called upon has made him an asset to the Dolphins squad throughout the year.
Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader said securing both players was another important step in retaining the talent that has contributed to the club’s run to this year’s maiden finals series.
“Tevita and Brad have both made important contributions to our team this season and we are delighted to have them extend their time at the Dolphins,” said Reader.
“Tevita is only 20 years old and has already shown what he is capable of at NRL level. He has continued to develop throughout the year and we are excited about what lies ahead for him.
“Brad has been a great addition to our squad and has shown his value every time he has taken the field. He has provided us with quality and depth in the halves and has made a real impact in his first season at the club.
“We are pleased to have both players committed to the Dolphins as we continue to build our squad for the seasons ahead,” Mr Reader said.
