Detectives are seeking public assistance after Maroochydore convenience store workers were threatened at knifepoint during an armed robbery on Australia Day.
Initial investigations indicate a man entered the shop on Aerodrome Road armed with a large kitchen knife, around 8.40pm on January 26.
He demanded money from staff and fled on foot toward Parker Street with a quantity of money.
The man is described as being in his 20s with a proportionate build.
He was wearing a long-sleeved fishing shirt, dark coloured shorts, a black shirt over his head and no shoes.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen the man in that area on Australia Day, or who may have relevant CCTV footage or dashcam to contact police.
