Queensland Rail is warning truck drivers about the cost and danger of bridge strikes.
From January to the end of March this year there have been 16 bridge strikes in south-east Queensland, including two at Rosebed Street at Edulo on the Sunshine Coast.
Last month a truck struck a rail bridge in Nambour, closing the main train line for a week and the road until at least early June.
