The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after an 8 year-old boy died in a crash involving two e-bikes on the Sunshine.
Around 3.36pm yesterday a 15 year-old boy and the primary school boy crashed on the bike path near the Kawana Way and Sunshine Motorway interchange at Mountain Creek.
The 8 year-old boy was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition but died from his injuries.

Police say the older boy refused medical treatment and is assisting with their enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has relevant footage is urged to come forward.
