Walk for Balin

Every January, the Kawana Surf Club comes alive for the Annual Walk for Balin 

Join us, wear a white shirt, for a leisurely 5km walk from the Kawana Surf Club to Pt. Cartwright & back. Relax afterwards on the lawn with live music.

Food, refreshments & merchandise will be available for purchase.   

A heartfelt community event held in honour of Balin Stewart.

Families, friends, local businesses and supporters from across the Sunshine Coast gather to walk together along the beachfront, raising awareness around youth violence and continuing Balin’s legacy of positivity, kindness and connection.

It’s a day filled with emotion, purpose and unity, with the stunning coastline as a reminder of the community that stands strong behind the Stewart family.

Whether you walk, volunteer or simply show up in support, the event embodies the spirit of coming together to create change.
