Distorted Image Party

The origin of the Distorted Image Party comes from the idea that underground nightclub culture doesn’t exist on the Sunshine Coast!

We searched high and low for our tribe, and our favourite genres of electronic music….

We couldnt find the party that we envisioned…so we decided to create it! 

Join us once again for a special party at The Black Box Theatre in Nambour! 

Those who witnessed the previous parties will reinforce our ethos of inclusion and high quality electronic dance music. Our stage design and light show turned heads at the last event. The selection of music from our veteran DJs rocked the Black Box down to its foundations. So excited to show you our vision for Distorted Image Volume 3!!!

The timing of this event couldnt be more succint, as we share our vision at the beginning of the Chinese New Year. Its a time for celebration and being with people you love. So bring down some of your tribe, and let’s party into the year of the Snake.

We combine all the elements to transform the Black Box into an adult wonderland. We focus on a diverse genre mix that is carefully curated for the purpose of creating moments on the dancefloor. Expect some deep vinyl sets from the collection of Indillectual and Kid-B. Our house brothers taking us through groove central will be MichaelAngelo and Magnifique. Then we have some proper underground techno from Jordxy and Xperimental. Last but not least we have our very own dj cat playing her signature mix of techy goodness.
