Big Freeze for Chris Steele – Peregian Beach

Join the community for a special Big Freeze fundraising event in support of local resident and long-time nurse Chris Steele, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) last year.

Held at Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club, this family-friendly afternoon aims to raise awareness and funds for MND research and support services while celebrating Chris’s incredible contribution to the community. With no known cure for MND and around 2,000 Australians currently living with the disease, the event hopes to make a meaningful difference and establish a lasting annual fundraiser in Chris’s honour.
