Gympie Police are appealing for information as part of investigations into a stolen prime mover from Toolara Forest.
Initial investigations indicate sometime between 10pm and 11pm on Sunday September 6, an unknown person gained entry to a holding yard on Tin Can Bay Road and stolen a white 2000 Western Star 4800 Series and an attached Mammoth Float trailer with a bulldozer loaded on it.
The dozer was later found abandoned in rough terrain off Gaeta Road in Gaeta, west of Gin Gin on September 10.
The prime mover and trailer were last spotted in the Gin Gin area.
The Western prime mover bears the Queensland registration number XQ23NS and the trailer has Queensland registration number YB30JK.
Police are urging anyone with information, or relevant dashcam vision or CCTV, to come forward.
