The British singer, who featured on LMFAO’s global smash and later found success with girl group G.R.L., has died aged 37. Her former bandmates confirmed the heartbreaking news in an emotional social media tribute. A cause of death has not been publicly released.

A Huge Name In Aussie Pop

Lauren became a familiar voice to Australian audiences through G.R.L., with hits including Ugly Heart, Wild Wild Love and Vacation. Ugly Heart was especially popular here, reaching the Top 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and becoming one of the group’s biggest hits.

Before finding international fame, Lauren moved from the UK to Los Angeles at just 17 to pursue her dream of a music career.

Lauren’s passing marks another heartbreaking loss for G.R.L. after bandmate Simone Battle died in 2014. Following Simone’s death, Lauren helped raise awareness for mental health through the group’s tribute single Lighthouse.
