Two men have been charged following multiple traffic offences across North Brisbane.
It’s alleged between 4.50am and 6.30am on Sunday, a silver Holden Rodeo utility was driving dangerously and hitting multiple vehicles.
The incidents occurred in several suburbs including Chermside, Windsor, Lutwyche, Kedron, Brisbane City, Chermside West and Bald Hills.
No injuries were reported to police in relation to these incidents.
The utility was later located abandoned around 5.35am on the Gateway Motorway near the Wyampa Road overpass in Bald Hills.
Shortly before 6am, police located a 30-year-old Mooloolaba man nearby in bushland, who was taken into custody.
A 38-year-old Mooloolaba man has also been taken into custody in relation to this matter.
The men have been charged with multiple offences, including five counts each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and fail to comply with duties of driver involved in a crash, and one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle and adversely affected by an intoxicating substance.
Both are due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Police continue to appeal to anyone who may have been impacted by this incident and anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
