Yeah, that’s not a title I thought I’d ever be writing before.

We all know and love him, Paddington Bear and his marmalade sandwiches. But the producers behind the most recent films (and the estate of his creators) are suing Avalon the company that owns a YouTube show called The Rest is Bullsh*t!. The show has been hit with a law suit over a depiction of Paddington Bear appeared to be in an alleged breach of copyright and design rights.

In the parody, Paddington Bear is the host of a podcast with Prince Harry and the pair are interviewing none other than X owner Elon Musk. In this podcast the beloved Bear swears throughout the podcast and admits to being a user of cocaine whilst reading adverts for robot sex dolls and guns. Throughout the episode they mock other political figures such as the current US President and UK Prime Minister.

The show is a direct parody of a series titled “The Rest is…” a podcast series produced by Goalhanger productions. The lawsuit for the episode in question was released months ago but has only come to light with the lawsuit recently. An episode recently released continued the joke and trend of the Bears drug habits. As of the time of writing this, Avalon, the company that owns the YouTube series has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
