Teenage boy arrested at servo

Police have charged a teenage boy over an alleged break and enter in Landsborough.

Police were called to reports of people allegedly attempting to break into a home on Mill Street in Landsborough around 8.20am on Friday.

The group left the scene in a silver Subaru Crosstrek, allegedly stolen from Bracken Ridge sometime after 5am on Friday.

Police tracked the stolen car to a business on Steve Irwin Way, Glenview where they took the boy into custody.

The 15-year-old Fitzgibbon boy has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, dangerous operation of a vehicle, face masked with intent commit indictable offence, stealing, possessing dangerous drugs, possess tainted property and two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence.

He is due to appear in Maroochydore Childrens Court on September 16.

Two additional people, believed to also be involved in the initial incident, are still at large.

Anyone with information or relevant vision of the Mill Street, Landsborough or Steve Irwin Way, Glenview areas at the time are urged to contact police.
