Artists in Action

Artists in Action at Gateway to Art is a vibrant three-day celebration of creativity set along Gateway Drive in Noosaville from 8–11 August 2025. The event kicks off with a twilight opening on Friday 8 August (4 pm–8 pm), followed by open studios, galleries, and maker spaces on Saturday and Sunday (10 am–4 pm), where visitors can explore working studios, meet local artists, and enjoy refreshments. Attendees receive a “Gateway to Art” passport, which—when stamped at participating studios—enters them in a draw to win a $1,000 art voucher plus a hamper of local goodies. The trail features diverse mediums, from bold abstract paintings to delicate glass mosaics, ceramics, mixed media, and more. Featured artists include Dallas Lesley, Fiona Bastow, Juanita Van Den Bergh, Jackie White, Lis and Andre Eberle, Dianne McInerney, Jo Cook, Kate Owen, and others—each bringing a unique style and story to the creative corridor. This event transforms Gateway Drive into a lively, year‑round hub for art‑curious visitors and collectors alike.
