Police are investigating after a 4wd was used to smash into a jewellery store on Bribie Island.
Around 3am yesterday the vehicle was driven through the front doors of the Bongaree shopping centre at the corner of Goodwin Drive and Hornsby Road.
The vehicle then continued into the shopping centre before reversing into the security doors of a jewellery store causing severe damage.

A number of glass cabinets were damaged and jewellery removed before the offenders fled in the vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
