A post mortem examination will be carried out this morning on a woman who was stabbed to death at Cooloola Cove.
It’s believed the 58 year-old Cooloola Cove woman died from a knife wound to the chest, inside her home, around 7.15pm on Sunday.
A man in his 50s, who was helping the woman clean her Creekside Esplanade home, was questioned by police but later released.

The man called police to notify them about the incident.
It is hoped the post mortem will provide more clues about what happened.
