Already? We literally only just got Black Ops 6!

A few days ago Activision dropped the first trailer for their newest game since Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which released back in October. A new game announcement? So soon? What could it be?

Well, turns out only 8-months after Black Ops 6 released they’ve announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. It would be soon for a new game regardless but a sequel to the game you JUST released is crazy to me. But maybe you’re excited, and that’s great if you are! Check out the new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 below.

Set to release later this year, jump back to the future and follow through the story of David Mason. The year is 2035 and the world is on the brink of chaos, ravaged by violent conflict and psychological warfare following the events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. Wielding cutting-edge technology, the Black Ops team led by David Mason must fight back against a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else.

Not too many details have been revealed yet but developer Activision claims you won’t see this one coming. Unsure what that means but I like that they seem to think this one will sweep fans off their feet. The next title does seem to also be bringing Zombies along with it again.

I’m curious though, much debate has been going on for years now about Activision doing too much Call of Duty and not giving each title much care. The developer has turned a bit into a factory, but are you excited about this game or do you think it’s way to soon for another Black Ops title.

You can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 when it releases later this year.
